Payment & Delivery


PAYMENTS

Online payments can be made using any of the following methods:


Credit Card (using EWAY - our online payment gateway) – we accept Visa and Mastercard

You will be required to enter your credit card details into our online payment gateway system.  All of the information you provide is secured using up to 256-bit encryption using worldwide trusted security provider GeoTrust.  You can purchase at Vintage Street safely and securely at all times.  E-WAY is the gateway provider and they process the transactions directly with the financial institutions, so your details are never stored or held.  We use the added security of the 3 digit SSL code increasing your protection while shopping online.

Paypal

You can purchase using your PayPal account at Vintage Street by selecting this option on the payment methods page of the checkout process.  You will be redirected to the PayPal website to process your transaction, and this will be done fast and securely at all times.

Direct Deposit

If you choose direct deposit as your payment method, you will be provided with all of the information you require after your transaction has been completed.  You can then using internet banking or go into any ANZ branch to transfer or deposit the funds.  It is important to note here that transfer of funds can take up to 1 business day to process if the cash is not deposited over the counter.  Our processing of your purchase will start once payment is received in full.  You will have a period of 3 business days to make payment to our account, and if the funds are not received during this timeframe, the items will be returned to stock.  Please contact us if you are delayed in transferring the funds, and we can make alternative arrangements if required.

Cheque & Mail Order

Once your order has been completed, you will be provided with all details you need to make payment using a cheque or money order.  Both forms of payment need to be made out to Vintage Street and received by us within 4 business days.  Please contact us if you need to make alternative payment arrangements.  Cheques can generally take up to 5 business days to process, and your order will be despatched as soon as payment has been cleared.

Gift Certificate

If you have a gift certificate, please select this payment option and follow the instructions at check out by entering your gift certificate number and full name.

Delivery

 

We deliver in Australia using Star Track Express couriers.  This means that your purchase will be delivered safely, securely, and fast.  We currently ship to Australia and New Zealand only.  All orders will be delivered for a flat fee of $9.50.  All orders being delivered to New Zealand ship at a flat rate of $20. Once payment has been received, it will generally take approximately 1-2 business days for handling and delivery of your purchase between capital cities, and one extra day to more remote areas in Australia.  Parcels shipping to NZ can take between 8-10 business days.

We use Star Track Express couriers to provide you with the fastest, secure form of delivery.  We also recommend that you provide a work address or home address as signature will be required on delivery.  As we use a courier to ensure the fastest delivery to you, we unfortunately can't deliver to PO Boxes.  If you would like your order delivered to a PO Box, please email us after placing your order and we can arrange for delivery using Australian Express Post.  If you are not at the address you have provided or the courier is unable to make delivery to the address you have provided in your order, you will be required to pay the re-delivery fee for your parcel and this will come at a cost of $12.00.  This will be a cost to you, and so it is important that you have your item delivered to an address where someone will be able to receive it, or elect to have your parcel left at the address without signature during the check out process.  Parcels shipping to New Zealand will be sent via Australia Post.

**Please note that if you live in the Northern Territory, your parcels will be delivered via Australia Express Post to ensure prompt and fast delivery.

It is possible during the checkout to select a box saying that you are happy for the courier to leave the parcel at your address without signature.  This will avoid the re-delivery charges in the event that you are not at the address to sign for your parcel when delivery is made.  Our courier will leave the parcel at your address if they deem it safe to do so without signature.

If for some reason you aren't able to have your parcel delivered to the address you have provided to us during your order, and need to have the parcel re-directed to a different delivery address after it has shipped, you will be required to pay the re-direction fee of $12.00.  Please contact us should you have any questions regarding this process. 

All items featured on our website are available for purchase, and held in stock ready to go. In some circumstances, there may be the odd occasion where two customers are trying to purchase a particular item at the same time.  If this does happen, you will be contacted immediately and we will do our best to get our hands on another piece for you.

Please note that all costs are quoted in Australian dollars including shipping costs and any shipping charges cannot be refunded.
